Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

It is a project for students in Kindergarten and Primary Education. It will take place in Santa Faz school, located in San Vicente del Raspeig, with a broad educational background. The center consists of different levels: kindergarten, primary, secondary and vocational training. Currantly we have started with a multilingual program, arts and crafts and physical education teaching English in first and second grade. We have set the following objectives:To create a science and math club to improve the skills and educational outcomes for students, where they are the centre of their own learning. It will be held in separate classrooms, they are acclimated for each club, using an active, participatory methodology, through a dynamic process where students develop their creativity and therefore they are the centre of their learning. We promote a constructivist learning through new technologies and the acquisition of learning English by using the CLIL methodology. This project will be carried out by 6 teachers from the centre who belong to different educativ levels of the centre to put it into practice with students from 3 to 12 years old.  The activities we have raised can be modified depending on what we learn during our training abroad, but it could be summarized in the following:- Creating International Science Club.- Creating of International Math Club.- Training parents, teachers...- Creating a Local Competition for Science and Mathematics.- Developing materials, games, activities for the International Math Club.- Creating a Blog.We hope that dissemination and processing of the results may reach beyond our own training. Our goal is that the teachers and pupils from three years to 12 could enjoy it. We use a series of quantitative tools to assess the direct impact it has on parents and students through evaluation of activities, counting the number of visits of our blog, assessing the number of participants of the competitions ... etc and a set of qualitative tools by using aquestionnaire to rate the degree of satisfaction of participants.A long-term aim that the activities of science and math clubs are put in place as an everyday activity at our center with a high degree of acceptance and to improve the academic performance of our students by modifying the view that currently have on them.
