The background to the project are long-time good experiences of international cooperation, a need for an overall renewal in a changing world and a need to get new European impulses, new ideas and new skills for all of our activities. The purpose of the mobility project is to improve the quality of the overall operation at CLL. That is achieved by the competence improvement within the staff and by international contacts. CLL has an urge to renew its course concepts, to make the adult education more inviting and to take into use the full potential of IT. CLL wants to create new innovative learning environments, to improve overall project management and to build long-lasting international cooperation. The project consists of 7 mobilities by participants who are skilled in their field of adult education. They all aim at improved competences and the mobility is planned to make that improvement possible at the same time bearing in mind the needs of the organization. Both of these needs are constantly monitored, and mobilities take place where these two meet. All of this staff has good language skills, but the objective is to improve those also. The mobility project consists of four person participating in two international workshops and of three persons participating in a job-shadowing/tailor made study visits to Sweden. At the same time we are looking for european lectures on our courses. The project is based on the needs of the total organization as well as on the professional development needs of the involved persons. The important issue for the organisation is that the benefits of these mobilities will be seen at the adult student level. The goals of the project are concrete: new ideas and methods, new skills in coaching and councelling, one entirely new course idea within psychology and a strong effort to get the general idea of Transition to fit our courses when possible. Our Author course is old and needs new ideas and concepts. In the long run can the mobilities renew our working culture and improve well-being at work when the staff get a different perspective on their own work. Our adult students get modern, more effective and attractive courses and we will get a broader European network, where we also are willing to contribute.
