CLIL MetodologÍa práctica enseñanza-aprendizaje del Inglés en Educación Infantil.

All the teaching staff, the Educative Community of the Abencerrajes Pre-Primary and Primary School, has the responsability of managing a Bilingual Project that requieres a solid structure, above the base of a shared idea.
Nowadays we know what being skilled in the management of different languages, specially in the management of the English language, means. Being conscious of that,we can not allow the definition of a teaching and learning model that is uncomplete or mantained by particular will.
What we want is a complete model, identified, perfectly defined, structured or regulated, shared and valued by all the people who integrates this Educative Community.
From this point of view, in a complete project, the "idea" is articulated from the Early Years and conducted, securely, up to Year six of Primary Education.
And, with no doubt, this idea can not survive without the sincere involvement of all the teaching staff, and specially the staff who teach in the Early Years Stage.
This is the need, this is our STARTING CONTEXT, the will of articulating a teaching model that goes over and does not replace the present one, but consolidates and defines it better.
About the PARTICIPANTS, the prominence is general, even the regulated activity, object of the movility, is realized by concrete teachers, selected by a transparent method, following an educational intervention profile.
The METHODOLOGY that regulates the project, consists of a permanent formation activity located in Gloucester, conducted by native teachers who will transmit knowledge and experiences regarding the teaching of the English Language for the Early Years Stage.(Aged 3-7)
About RESULTS and IMPACT, we have anticipated a set of measures which mean sharing the experience, since the begining of it and when the participants teachers come back to their own work positions.
The first measure is about documentating the formation process, collecting and publishing all the material of interest.
The second is on a longer basis, and it will be concreted as different formules of diffusion and transmission of experiences in our own school, for the teaching staff to visualize and practice the learned methodology.
Finally, the expected benefits are:
Establishing a Bilingual Project, solid, structured and shared by the teaching staff and the Educative Community of the Abencerrajes Pre-primary and Primary School.
Other schools in our town, region or country will benefit from innovative teaching methodologies and new materials. Also will be provided the access to materials through the Internet, free of charge and open licensing regime with permission to others, including the National Agency for them to know and use the resources provided.
