Our school, the Oberschule am Waller Ring has been a secondary school with a CLIL profile for many years. Since 2010, we are in a reform process developing our school into a "Oberschule". The new school concept with its inherent idea of inclusion leads to new challenges, also for the CLIL profile of our school. The project "CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning for Teachers of Other Subjects" is a teacher training programme that focuses on methodology and didactic of teaching CLIL. Main aims of of the project are student-oriented, communicative teaching methods and adequate development of teaching material for the CLIL classroom. Furthermore, the project focuses on language competence of the teaching staff. The project aims at providing new insights for the development of school curricula and methodology and didactics, so it provides a basis for the school's quality management. By establishing contact to CLIL teachers from all over Europe, this project will serve as a great opportunity for exchanging experiences. The colleague taking part in this project teaches English and GuP (a subject including History, Geography and Politics) in CLIL classes. She teaches in the first two years according to the new school concept of "Oberschule". Therefore, one of her main tasks is curriculum and material development. She also is speaker of the English department and of the GuP department, therefore she will be able to spread the experiences from the teacher training in two departments concerned with CLIL. She furthermore is part of the workgroup for school development and will be able to use her experience while developing the school concept and other organisational concepts..
