The school focuses on the language learning and teaching, since 2005 the CLIL methodology – Integrated learning and teaching of foreign languages and vocational subjects has been applied through the media of English language and we are planning to introduce CLIL methodology through the media of German language. Therefore it is very important for our institution to allow one of our teachers to take part in the training focused on methodology of contemporary language teaching and to find out the most current trends in teaching. We would be able to widen the usage of CLIL methodology and to promote the multilingualism, language learning and language diversity, which is the key element of the EU and the symbol of EU aspiration to be connected in diversity, foreign languages have the prominent position among the skills which equip young people for the labour market and improve their opportunity to find employment. The need of the school is to strengthen teaching of contemporary foreign language as the goal of the EU is that every citizen should learn foreign languages. Our aim is also to share the gained knowledge, skills and experience with other teachers to maximize the impact of these activities to professional development of all the employees, and to integrate the gained experience into the school practise and its educational programme as well as sustainability of this project in the long run.
