The overall objective of the project is to increase the accessibility of Lower Pobuże (the region of Hrubieszów and Volodymyr-Volynskyi) for investors, increasing the inhabitants quality of life and its touristic and economic attractiveness through the increase in accessibility and quality of the social and economic infrastructure pertaining to the water supply. The project results will be for example operation and execution of measures by the Water Supply Joint Management Office, 9 meetings of the project steering team, waterworks in Hrubieszów: 9.980 km in total and Waterworks in Volodymyr-Volynskyi: 3.902 km in total. Region will also gain 1 modernised water treatment plant in Volodymyr-Volynskyi.The project creates excellent basis for cross-border cooperation. The project shall include the construction of joint management structures, namely Water Supply Joint Management Office, where the Project Manager (a third party representative) shall work together with the experts selected by the government of the town of Volodymyr-Volynskyi. Thus the administrative structure, common to both partners (also financed jointly) is the platform for joint direct work upon the project.
