The project foresees a preliminary visit from 6th to 9th of May 2015. The project stems from the desire to clean up the economy by indifference to the environment and to promote environmentally sustainable practices. “Clean up!” also wants to put the focus on youth responsibility and wants to involve participants from Europe to decline the experience of youth exchange in a European commitment in the name of activism pro environment and pro sustainability. Specific objectives are: - sensitize about wasteful consumption; - provide knowledge about the projects of the main actors of the green economy; - provide data and knowledge on new practices of reuse of waste materials, including business perspective; - promote and develop a sense of civic responsibility, especially among young people. The project involves the European youth organizations working in support of environmental protection and active citizenship and who wants to share their experiences about the new styles of consumption and new forms of urban areas requalification. Participants involved in the project will be people 18-25 years old who work for development of direct and active citizenship practices in their countries. Project's activities will address two main topics: green economy and reuse; active citizenship and civic responsibility. The first one provides workshops, meetings with green companies and visits to social and self-sustainable farms. The second one provides activities of urban cleaning, in collaboration with municipality, interviews with points to citizens about respect of common places and creation of artistics message about environment and its respect to be installed near the road signs in the university campus. During all project's phases we will use no formal learning methods, such as learning by doing, peer to peer learning and we will use different games to deepen the topics in more funny ways. We envisage to reach a great impact, local and european, through the implementation of all project's activities. Furthermore, we envisage to involve: at least 4 companies which work in the green economy and materials' reuse area, through the organization of the workshops and of the visits; 100 citizens, through the interviews with points; all university people, through the settlement of the artistic promotional messages; people who live in the two places where cleanings will be made. All project's activities will ensure a multiplier effect and long term benefits cause most part of activities will focus on action as well as study and analysis and all topics treated will help participants to understand their important role in the society and in the economic system.
