The global objective of the project is to build capacity for organizations of civil society in order to strengthen their role in the prioritization, design and implementation of local and regional development public policies. Achievements: Increased awareness of representatives of public institutions and of organizations of civil society, of entrepreneurs and of every-day citizens about the importance, the necessity and the advantages of citizen engagement in the process of formulation and implementation of local and regional public policies, as well as the understanding of the new tools that facilitate citizens to participate in social dialogue with the decision-making factors.A strong cross-border network of organizations from Romania, Ukraine, Armenia and Republic of Moldova supporting citizen engagement in recommending valuable, sustainable and feasible solutions to local and regional development policies created.Stronger expertise in the area of public policies formulation, citizen participation and public-private partnerships of the members of the network increased.Engagement of entrepreneurs in the process of formulation of public policies concerning the business environment enhanced.
