The aim of the project is to support the youth empowerment of 120 young people from European countries in building sustainable societies through their involvement in an international event that focuses on promoting positive values such as: diversity, inclusion, peace and cohesion among young people from different cultures and backgrounds. Objectives:O1. Support 120 young Europeans to experience a large scale, global, inter-cultural youth event (over 5 000 participants) as part of its International Service Team O2. Offer the volunteers the opportunity to develop their social skills such as: communicating with different cultures, expressing their opinion, understanding the positive aspects of diversity and the importance of inclusive and peaceful attitudes, etc.O3. Empower young people in taking actions to shape their local communities into peaceful and cohesive multicultural environments through promoting positive values related to diversity, inclusion, peace etc.O4. Support the volunteer in building know how on managing large scale youth events in the fields of: logistics and infrastructure, health and safety, educational programs and methods, support of self development, inter-cultural aspects etc. through their involvement in different Service Teams for the eventO5. Raise the knowledge and the capacity among young organizations in europe of organizing large scale youth events through the follow up engagement of the EVS volunteers inside their sending organizations and use it for organizing their own events (national and international jamborees, camps etc.)The project partners were chosen according to their expertise in the following fields:- management of large scale youth events- running of EVS projects- volunteer management- programs dedicated to young people. This specific coalition of partners has been built only for this project, based on the outcomes expected.
