Background of the project: The widening from regional labour markets to the European labour market changed the demands for our school, because we have to prepare our pupils for Europe and its job market and, as a grammar school institution, also for possible studies at foreign universities. That´s why our teachers should improve and increase their intercultural as well as their project management competences through intercultural and project management further training. The courses should also by attended by colleagues from the EU, with that new project partners could meet and plan a cooperation in the form of E-Twinning, Job-shadowing and international meetings of pupils. Aims of the project: The improvement of intercultural and project management skills for an increasing number of teachers in our teaching staff. Therefore four teachers should attend further training courses in a period of time of 24 months and they should be willing to do this in foreign countries, so they should have adequate language skills and willing to spread the European idea in our school community and in their teaching lessons. Description: Participation in intercultural further training courses concerning project management and in Job-Shadowing with partner schools in European countries. Methods: The further training programs and Job-Shadowing should bring intercultural competences in our school and in the teaching lessons, project management competences of our teachers should initiate and institutionalize projects on European level. Description of the intended results and effiencies: The experiences of the further training courses and the Job-Shadowing leads to new motivation for intercultural learning processes, intercultural cooperations and they cause a higher effectiveness for European projects. The project strengthens the ability and the willingness of the participating teachers to fill the colleagues with enthusiasm for projects on the European level and can be used as a method for the increase of the intercultural, social and language skills of our pupils. In increasing these skills, our pupils will be better and in varied ways prepared for the demands of the European labour market and the universities.
