Cesta k profesnímu úspěchu
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Thanks to the fact that our project „The Road to a Professional Success“ was approved, we could realize a professional intership for 15 students educated in the field of studies called Economics and Business. We realized this project because we wanted to approach school education in European context, we wanted to supplement the theoretical learning and teaching in the school with a practical training in a developed background of the labour market. The students had a possibility to get known the background of a foreign company during the 2-week intership, they could become a part of the company, they got new professional experience in their branch, they improved their language skills in the every day communication and they practised their professional vocabulary. They could strengthen their social skills, they became more independent, their self-confidence and self-assurance increased, they learned how to work in a team and adapt to new conditions. We can state that the objectives, which we established in our project, have been achieved. The students were assessed by the representatives of the companies and the results were positive. The monitoring was made by an accompanying teacher in the companies during the internship. On the last day, a final assessment was made, the students obtained Europass Mobility and a certificate of the partner organization. The project was important for our school for many reasons – we were able to start a new long-term cooperation with a foreign partner, share experience and work on future professional education of our students. We got a feedback on the quality of teaching and setting our students up for their future job. We were able to confront our educational programmes, verify their effectivity and improve them based on the new experience so that our students can get quality education. Thanks to transparency, Europass or ECVET it will be easier for our students to join the European labour market in the future. The dissemination of the project results started after finishing the internship in the UK. We organized discussions with students and teachers in our school and presentations in primary schools in our town. The information about the project was published on the occasion of students intake, new leaflets were printed and spread, a promotional sign was made and new web sites were created. The article titled „Our Internship in London“ was published in a regional newspaper with the intention to attract as many regional subjects as possible. We can state that the promotion of project results had a positive impact on the visualization of our school and prestige increasing.
