Le Moulin des Sittelles is a retreat with accommodation based on themes of culture and music, the environment and heritage. It is managed by the Musiphiles association created by a group of passionate people eager to share their love of music and spread their values of sharing and openness to the world, with young and old audiences. The retreat is located at Burlats, a small village located in the valley of the river Agout, 8 km from Castres, in the Tarn and the Regional National Park of Haut Languedoc . Volunteer activities : • Maintenance and development of material, design and production of educational materials for theme based activities ( environment, respect for nature , energy ... ) . • assisting in activities and workshops with children (excursions, presenting his country or his personal instrument , music or dance ... ) and production of documents and teaching materials. • Support the music teacher (visually impaired) . • assist in the communication and preparation of events (concerts, events , mailing , display ... ) The volunteer will be a part of a professional team of 12 people, including entertainers, music educators , house staff and management. Castres offers the opportunity to enjoy many cultural and sport activities including mixing with other international people, thanks to various local contacts and other EVS. We welcome one volunteer at a time, for a duration of one year.
