The main aim of this EVS project is the exchange of cultures between Latin America and Europe and fighting against prejudice against foreigners among Europeans. The project will contribute to personal and proffessional development of the volunteers as well as help the people from local communities to become more open and tolerant towards foreigners.The volunteers will organise activities for children and youth. They will also present their countries in Intercultural workshops for youth, children and adults .ASPAT will host a Slovak volunteer Dominika Sovikova in Brasil for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Slovak volunteer Jana Hanzelova In Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Slovak volunteer Daniela Géčová in Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Italian volunteer Luca Pagliara in Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Italian volunteer Daniele Marchi in Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Italian volunteer Federica Pulcini in Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Latvian volunteer Bartule Inese in Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Italian volunteer Giuseppe Scalas in Uruguay for 12 months. AUDELE will host a Italian volunteer Kyriakaki Ismini in Uruguay for 3 months. KERIC will host a Italian volunteer Marco Rinaldi in Slovakia for 12 months. KERIC will host a Uruguayan volunteer Melisa Marrero Núñez in Slovakia for 12 months. ŽIRAFA will host a Brazilian volunteer Gabriela Pereira Ramires in Slovakia for 12 months.The project builds on previous good cooperation within EVS between KERIC, ASPAT, Žirafa and AUDELE.The cooperation between KERIC, ASPAT, AUDELE will be strenghtened by organising a multilateral project S-LAROPA 4, run between November 2008 and October 2009. The project has just been approved under Action 3.2. Youth in the World under a special Call for Proposals EACEA 31/2007.The cooperation with the Italian sending organisations I NCO, TDM 2000 and Latvian sending organisation Talsu district Children and youth centre is completely new.
