This cross-border project aims to solve the floods problem by creating a special support equipment and by training human resources, who can act promptly in case of emergency, preventing damages caused by floods. The main activities of the project are: training activities (within the project a training course for volunteers was organized regarding the ways of action in emergency situations. 35 volunteers will attend this course, 20 form Berveni and 15 from Tyukod); elaboration of studies and plans (this activity package comprises a social and economic impact study of the project and a common plan for action in emergency situations) and acquisitions of special equipment (pump, excavators and a machine for rapid intervention to transport and carry the motor pump).Direct beneficiaries are 35 volunteers (trained in emergency management and proper use of purchased equipment), the students of the schools from the villages, local population and two local governments that will have a new service in emergency situations.Among the project results: 1 training, 35 persons trained, 2 conferences, 2 forums.
