The project aims at strengthening the position of Carpathian region in tourism sector within Europe. Specific objectives are: 1. Harmonize tourism development process on local/regional and cross border level. 2. Increase the competitiveness of Carpathian tourist industry on EU market. Main activities: 1. Identification of local/regional stakeholders 2. Establish platform for cross border cooperation 3. Training workshops on networking and partnerships 4. Develop the mechanism and brand of cross border networking 5. Organize cross border thematic cultural festival 6. Develop informational materials 7. Place tourist information kiosks and audio guide in selected areas Achievements: Improved level of cross-border tourism stakeholders co-operation, Increased variety of thematic tourism product, Increase quality of tourism products in Carpathian region, Increased promotion of Carpathian tourism products inside/ outside of the region, Increased number of new information technologies, Improved quality of information services for tourists and visitors.
