The project will take place in Battambang in Cambodia. The participants will work and share ideas with youngsters of an orphanage named Peaceful Children Centre (PCH2) that is closely related to Cambodja.nu our local host and partner. The orphanage also runs a guesthouse to generate income.The group voluntary service will take place 2 times, 1 month and will be delivered by 24 volunteers of the Netherlands. The volunteers have different backgrounds and have fewer possibilities due to educational problems or a disability. After the service the volunteers will share their experiences with peer groups. The partiicpants and staff will stay at the guesthouse of the orphanage.An important part of the service will be the sharing of ideas and having workshops around entrepreneurship. In this case we make use of the programmes and lessons learned in other programmes of our partner Cambodja.nu in Cambodia. Because of the composition of the group there will also be discussions around the meaning and impact of "having fewer opportunities" in the Netherlands and Cambodia. Beside workshops and discussions, the volunteers will assist with teaching, building and painting activities. They will also give information about hygiene and HIV-Aids prevention and sexual information to girls.
