National System of Professional Qualification issued by the Ministry of National Education, envisages measures to provide of graduates a profile required by economic sectors and services, in order to integrate them on the work market, by creating partnerships between vocational schools and companies, to adapt vocational education to the labor market needs and to reduce unemployment.Under these conditions, Technical College no.2 of Targu Jiu aims practical implementation of measures stipulated in the Action Plan, to increase the quality of technical vocational education school and to make it more applied and attractive and to adapt it to the European market demands, which will help to enhance students' skills and competencies, reduce the rate of early school leaving and also increase the chances of labor market integration of its graduates.Among these measures, an important place has the development of partnerships with similar European schools and companies for exchanges of experience and for adapting the teaching process to the European standards for education and work.For the implementation of these measures was decided to develop this project, with the overall goal to increase the quality of teaching technical subjects and the training of students to European standards.The specific objectives of the project are:1. Development of the students' knowledge and skills for better employability on the European labor market a. Acquiring of a technical culture specific to the technical profile they study b. Development of the entrepreneurship skills by the contact with the conditions and labor relations in the EU c. Improving the attitude on occupational mobility and continue professional training of workers d. Personal development of participants by improving cultural, language and communication skillsThe direct beneficiaries of this project are students of CT2 as follows:- Electronics and automation - X grade - 15 students - Electromechanic - X grade - 15 students- Environmental protection - X grade - 15 students.Flows for students will have duration of 3 weeks, with 6 hours/day.Many of CT2 students are from disadvantaged families, for that the aim of the project is to provide to all students a chance to study in a European framework to improve their chances for labor market integration.Students will perform work placements in accordance with the respective study program. These work placements in European vocational schools and companies, with a suitable material equipment and qualified staff, will bring added value to their training.Participants will have the opportunity to complement and diversify professional knowledge, to develop language and communication skills that will contribute to their personal development, increase self-esteem and sense of belonging will form Europe, promoting the values and interest in mobility and lifelong training.Activities and results of the project will be disseminated through articles on the website of CT2 and in press, and at the end of the project by organizing a conference where will be invited students, parents, teachers, representatives of local companies.Through the project we want to increase the interest and motivation of students for technical education, to better integrate them on labor market, to attract local and European partners for future collaboration for the benefit of students, to make technical education more attractive, to increase the chances of employment after graduation and so to help reduce the unemployment rate in Gorj County.
