Our project with its content on the occupational health and safety, aims at raising consciousness about this issue among the employees. It is intended for the training staff who provide education and take place at the development and the improvement of the already existed OHS services. In our country, to support and improve the OHS services, the 6331 no. law is available and it encompasses all the business locations. Thanks to the law no. 6331 all the employees had the right to participate actively to the OHS activities. Although these constructive judicial works on OHS in our country, it is unfortunately a new phenomenon and there is no such tradition in our working life. The aims of our project: to make our training staff experienced on new teaching methodologies about knowledge and its implementation, to improve their communication, expression and presentation skills and also to make them comprehend and understand the new education models about the OHS. Our institution tries to create an awareness and sensitivity about the OHS tradition with its adult education programs and by these trainings it aims to prevent and lessen work accidents and occupational diseases. For all protective health services it is really important to make people and workers conscious and the most effective way of it is education for sure. This project will be created by a crew of 21 that includes manager, physician, the occupational physician, the expert and technician of the OHS and the training staff. The participants are all competent and experienced personnel. In our project there are 3 physicians, 2 occupational physicians, 3 OHS experts and 2 training people from the Provincial Health Directorate; 1 physician, 2 occupational physicians, 2 OHS experts and 1 training personnel from Public Health Directorate; and 2 occupational physicians and 3 personnel of adult training from Çelebi Public Health Center. The management of our project is carried out by a project management team under the leadership of Provincial Health Directorate. Our local partners are sufficiently participating in the activities of the unity. Provincial Health and Public Health Directorates will coordinate the issues of budget and logistics; Çelebi PHC the personnel related issues and our institution will deal with the monitoring, assessment and dissemination. Mobility process is planned for countries like Finland and England which give protective health services at public and private institutions and it is also planned for the institutions and establishments that makes consultancy on OHS. Foreign mobilities are planned to be done between July 2015 and July 2016. At the end of the project the trainers that participated in this project will be more equipped and productive with the knowledge and experience they get from the Europe. This knowledge and experience will be transferred to all of the workers with education programs.Thanks to the position of our Provincial Directorate other private and public institutions will take the advantage of the project. Both our institution and our local partners will give the OHS educations more effectively to the workers of public and private institutions that demanded it. Our local partners will reach all the individuals of the society via their competence on Public Health trainings. Ultimately, the workers will get this culture and accommodate it. And of course, work accidents and occupation diseases and the material and the spiritual losses caused by them will reduce in contrast to the increasing level of prosperity among the public. Thanks to these, our developing country will grow faster and faster. Consequently, by raising awareness among the workers about this issue; individuals, societies and a world will be much healthier.
