Ecumenical Affairs The purpose of our journey to Hungary is to establish a connestion between our congregation in Reykjavík and the congregation in Budapest - Hungary. Our church pastor‘s and the congregation board appricate the idea of a establishing a youth program between those two churches. We are talking about connection between a rural population nation Iceland and mid europe crowded population in Hungary. The similarity between those two is that we come and stand on the same belive ground as Evangelical Lutheran Church in the both countries. There is a mulitplurar and diverse in Europe which is good and also good for those who share the same belive to meet and build up a stronger togatherness. The main purpose is to establish and build a bridge between people in those two countries which also find their place in the church. Also establish a individual and personal togatherness between those two groups which come from hole diffrent enviroment. The main thing that we are looking at with this journey: 1. Gather a two group who find the togatherness of work in between the walls of their church in their country. 2. Ecumenical Affairs to establish in the church mind what is the same and what differ between those to nation which belive is in most part the same god living in different enviroment. In that way it is possible to build up a deeper connection between the those two countries. 3. Between the congregation in Iceland and Hungary can be connection which serves a goal of friendship and deeper understanding of Christianti in those two countries.
