Building Logistic edUcation in Europe
Start date: Sep 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The aim of the project is to promote innovation and to improve the school and training system in the Liguria region by taking advantage of the opportunity given by the European and international confrontation through the exchange of cultural and operational models which are intended to be spread for the promotion of a sustainable, inclusive, smart growth as indicated by the Europe 2020 Strategy. The Blue Economy, action field of this project, is a historical pillar in the economic system of the Liguria region. Transportation, logistics, and tourism have been chosen as the three strategic fields for the development and socio-economic growth of our territory. So, by means of transnational exchange and confrontation, the project aims at: - Singling out emerging and/or most significant professional profiles which are now requested in the three fields and describing their evolutionary trends, not last in terms of occupability; - Comparing the skills for occupability which characterize the profiles of the school and training courses of the partner countries; - Analyzing and connecting the different instruction and vocational courses; - Encouraging a shared planning of actions, tools, and quality experiences to support people and skills mobility in Europe; - Promoting the constitution of a transferable model of good practices through the involvement of poles, networks, and school associations which work in the Blue Economy operational chain; - Trying out a multilevel governance model to systematize and spread the actions, products and outcomes of the project for the improvement of the training system in the Blue Economy chain.
