The project refers to improvement of road infrastructure between two localities, on both sides of the border: Elek and Graniceri (road construction on the Hungarian side 3,7Km and road rehabilitation on the Romanian side, 12,021Km). It tackles issues of common interest to both partners involved. Building the cross-border connection road ensure the strengthening of the economic contacts and the regional activities and makes easier the access to the economical centres. The project improves the mobility of the communities and the access to cross-border services . A new cross-border road generates a significant cross-border impact.Target groups of the project are identified from both sides of the border: in Békés and Arad counties.
