"Building bridges for Entrepreneurship and Employability"

"Building bridges for Entrepreneurship and Employability" is a study visit of 14 association leaders juveniles of Malta, Poland, Romania, Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal, with 2 participants from each country, that will last for 7 days, 3 – 9 July, and will be developed in the district of Santarém. This project came from the need to "fight" the scourge of youth unemployment, a reality that affects all of Europe, using, sharing and meeting new practices developed within the framework of youth work, with regard to the youth employment, entrepreneurship, creativity and the empowerment for young people at European level. Having said this, this project aims to assist, facilitate and promote the work of youth associations in support of these thematic. In this sense, we will visit 5 youth portuguese associations, observing in loco their activities and projects, 2 entities, other than being associations play an important role with regard to the promotion of entrepreneurship and youth employment and 3 practical cases (examples) of success of youth entrepreneurship and consequently of self-employment. On the other hand our goal is to know the reality associative partner countries and work in these areas in order to promote the exchange and sharing of best practices and experiences european, so beyond the visits we will have moments of sharing, debate among the participants, where the promoters will have the opportunity to share their backgrounds, their work, how they developed their jobs and together define or identify what are the best practices for the empowerment of social skills, personal and professional young people and to make them more participatory, active, entrepreneurs and consequently combat social exclusion, poverty and marginalization of the same.
