The main aim of the project " BREAKING WALLS , WINDOWS EUROPEAN OPENING " is to break the barriers of the English language for our students , making them able to function with ease and fluency in the English language , and be able , in a close future , to let them participate in the labor market, in the European Union and in an increasingly globalized world. Thus, our center aims to contribute to achieve the objectives of the ERASMUS Programme +, and especially to REDUCE DROPOUT RATE AND UNEMPLOYMENT RATE. The project is located in the Educational and Institutional context of the town of Alcala de Xivert, in Valencia , Spain . This project is focused on the school in the beginning, but the results of this project can be extended worldwide , as long as our students will be able to move in a world without language barriers, independently and autonomy . The total number of educational professionals involved in this project is quite large and is not closed to new members that may appear in the next school year. Thus the project has the support of the local council of Alcala de Xivert, the Commission established for the management of this European project (consisting of a total of 6 education professionals, including teachers and staff Management), 3 professionals who will take courses abroad, and the support and cooperation for the improvement and evaluation from both the School Board and the AMPA (Association of Parents of Students) as well. First of all, we are going to attend to three training courses to improve different aspects that the school has detected among their fields for improvement. Through the learning of these courses, the Commission Project will choose the best way to develop and adapt this new knowledges to the reality of the center and the students. The methodology used for the project will be based on providing students learning, to help them to be curious to continue learning, focusing on the Basic competence of Learning to Learn and helping students to be able to function independently in any context and reality that comes their way. Regarding the results, students are expected to significantly increase their language skills in the English language and through this is going to be a transfer helping them to improve their language skills in the other language areas of the curriculum, having a very positive impact in the medium and long term life of the students, in their personal development and in their European citizenship awareness. The "BREAKING WALLS, WINDOWS EUROPEAN OPENING" project is the beginning of a new era, a new opportunity to improve the reality of our immediate environment. It is our contribution to the development of a modern and hopeful Education, braking language barriers to promote a more cohesive and united European Union.
