“Break the Monotony-Express Yourself through Graffiti” 7 days Youth Exchange will take place in the seaside town Gonio in Georgia and will gather 32 participants and 6 leaders from 4 EU countries and 2 countries form EECA region. Young people, young artists and graffiti painters from 6 different countries will meet each other and paint Gonio sea side walls on the topic of cultural diversity and Youth active involvement in civil society. During the project participants will gain basic skills how to paint graffiti, how to be more active and do good things for society and for the environment. After the learning part all participants together will paint seaside walls of Gonio, which are gray, monotonous and with the involvement of participants they will became more colorful, attractive, visible and nice. Non-formal learning will be the main method used during the project and Graffiti paintings will be use as a tool to spread peaceful messages of cultural and personal diversity and the importance of youth active involvement, active citizenship in order to make good changes, to make life more peaceful and beautiful. The aim of the project is to promote graffiti as a part of modern art and the creative tool to express your personality. To raise awareness among the people and especially between the Youth that Graffiti is NOT vandalism, it is an ART!!! Also the aim is to use graffiti as a good and new tool to promote and make visible cultural diversity among the representatives of the different countries.
