Boundless Nature

Szalánc and Zemplén Hills, Hernád Valley and Upper Bodrogköz are single naturalgeographic units that are artificially separated but the border. This area is rich innatural values, the protection of which is important on both sides of the border.Based on the previous relative isolation and peripheral position, there was onlyoccasional professional and human contact, therefore up-to-date extensive informationhas become indispensable in effective protection. The tourism made considerablecontribution also to the successful development of ‘mild’ tourism based on bilateral cooperationand the related infrastructure. In order to make up for previous shortages, a20-part nature film series was also produced during the project describing the treasuresand specificities of this region. Achievements: Please refer to the 'Description' field, which also includes the achievements of this project.
