Meriem's colleague in contact for several years with Kamel, a young man who was already active at the time. This has been an easy link to find our partner in Martigues.We are a group of 20 participants in total (10 Belgian and 10 French) aged between 17 and 27 years, children of immigrants mostly facing a reality not always easy.Several facts have pushed youth to question issues around their identity, how they see themselves in this society that often tends to shine the spotlight on them, how to get out, what of our future? So many issues preventing them from moving forward because they have a feeling of suffocation.Both the French youth as young Belgians wanted to meet young people from elsewhere facing this reality. The ideal is to talk about a tool, we chose the tool of video, through small video capsule, we will together try to answer our questions, our positioning as a young citizen of Europe.Kamel, often sets up film discussions, we believe that this tool will also fuel our video capsules, again, the French group began more recently video capsules, we will exchange our film discussions and editing techniques, video capsule records together.The purpose of this trip is to compare two groups of young people, come from 2 different countries, experiencing the same problem, using similar tools to do that for 10 days.On our return we want to organize an exhibition, or it will affect many young people are also asking this question and a follow-up, try to respond. We will broadcast our videos capsules, we talk about what we lived and what we feel.This is a unique experience to learn skills that will serve them in their future lives, but also a way to push them to never give up but try to always challenge themselves to start better.We hope that other young people do not feel isolated, but go ahead and can take such initiative to create such a project with more consistent groups.
