The project “Borders” aims to:- searching for the European common identity, roots and values through the study of the main events of the contemporary history, especially from the sixties to present day;- making the students aware of and comparing the social, cultural, economical and  political evolution in the countries of the partners, emphasizing important facts and personalities since the 60s; - understanding the meaning of national borders and reinforcing tolerance, freedom and peace;- crossing psychological borders in order to overcome prejudices and strengthen friendship. European young people in our partner schools will be able to improve their knowledge in different fields - literature, art, history, music, sport, philosophy - concerning not only theirs but also the partners’ countries, in the past and in the present. By the end of the project the partner students are supposed to have got a better European awareness which will lead to an attitude of respect towards the other’s cultures and values.
