BİLGİ VE İLETİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ, ETKİLEŞİMLİ TAHTA VE DİJİTAL EĞİTİM YAZILIMLARININ EĞİTİMDE KULLANIMINDA PROFESYONEL GELİŞİM

This project includes the training programs of ICT & smart boards which will be taught, in Eurocert European Academy in Germany to the teachers of Alacam Vocational Anatolia High School, locates in a small town in Blacksea region of Turkey. İn our project which will provide an opportunity to understand cultural diversities and similarities via our project that is not only a learning activity, Germany, which is one of the most leading countries in terms of information and communication technologies, is chosen. While picking the project topic, we want to draw attention to idea that our local school may improve its&other nearby schools’ teaching methods with ICT. Our project activities are for teachers&results are very important for students as they will be taught by more qualified teachers. 10 selected teachers among 35 teachers will attend the course on ICT&smart boards then share informations with others. The same teachers will attend beginner course for English. Other activities like, practical applications,presentations,sharing informations with nonattendance teachers and schools, teaching students, online meetings,websites, using eTwinning, comparing results with other international partners will be done. Our Ministry of Public Education started a very big&extended project, called FATIH in 2012-2013 education year. They give tablet pcs to students&teachers&supplied smart boards to so many classrooms. Assembly of boards to our school will be completed in September 2014.According to yhe SWOT analysis and questionaires, it is clear that our school is behind the limits of Turkey and also ICT.So the need of using modern technology materials of our teachers will increase. TEACHER RELATED PROBLEMS IN USING ICT -lack of knowledge of teachers in technic and software -students improve their skills in computer so fast&follow improvements. Teachers may feel unqualified. -fear of interactivity will be one sided. -having no knowledge about computer assisted education -nonuse of existing teacher potential -can’t follow the rapid changes PROJECT AIMS 1) Improve professional competence of school employee 2) Improve multi language, digital such as ICT&smart board, entrepreneurism skills of trainee employee. 3) Combine theory and training based on ICT education 4) Strengthen ICT understanding by supporting access to international education sources 5) easily recognition of skills and qualifications btw countries 6) support improvements of funding of skills development. 7) Enrich cross cultural communication btw 2 countries, have similar biomes. 8) Introduce active European citizenship 9) Extend project results among school employee PROJECT BENEFİTS To Teachers: A) Using technology in process of teaching&learning B) Know how to teach ICT to different student groups C) During teaching&learning, teachers must use ICT effectively in classrooms to impress students D) Creating a cooperative&supportive atmosfer in classrooms for students. E) Creating long term relationships with attendee schools from Europe and using eTwinning to maintain relations&improve interpersonal communication skills. F) Improve language skills To Our School: a) Increase European awareness b) Using internationalization potential effectively during teaching&learning processes and training activities of school. c) Using technology potential gained in course, in teaching&learning process d) Thus our teaching improvement plans will be combined with new skills. To Students and Nonparticipant Teachers: A) Students benefit from teachers’ new skills B) Both students and other teachers are encouraged to attend online education communities C) Both students and other teachers are encouraged to use technology and build a website D) Extending of the results of the project.
