Entegration of the Information Communication Technology into education depends on the use of computer technology by the teachers successfully. For this reason, it is a must to support teachers with in- service trainings to enable them follow the new technology and use the the technology in their classes effectively. In the meetings, it is concluded that teachers have difficulty in entegrating ICT into their lessons and they lack of using smart boards in their classes. As a result, to enhance professional skills of teachers and increase the quality and success in education, in-service training of teachers about information communication technology was planned. In the scope of the project, 10 days course will be taken in Barcelona, Spain about use of ICT in education. It is aim to enhance the professional skills of teachers in the following topic: - Providing general information about ICT within various classes, - Defining ICT usage in education with its benefits, provide teachers with practical ideas for how they can incorporate technology into their existing lessons, - Familiarize teachers with current Internet trends and how they can be applied in the creation of an e-lesson, - Pinpointing possible downsides of ICT in education as well as in real life and how to avoid it, - Provide teachers with resources and various tools with which they can augment their e-learning content, - Explaining of usage and giving users tips concerning various ICT tools within, as well as, outside of classes, - Introducing ways of motivation and creative thinking through ICT for both teachers and students, - Introducing and explaining ways of enhanced communication within the teaching and learning process through ICT, - Giving a space for exchange of experiences and good practices among people coming from different countries who work in the same field. The outcome of the training and the project as follows: - Improvement of the level of key competences and IT skills, - Improvement of language skills (the course is held in English), - strengthened professional profile, - positive and long-lasting effects on the trainees involved, - increased capacity to cooperate on international level, - internationalisation at the level of education, - encouragement of sharing best practices, ideas and materials between colleagues within the EU, - improved abilities to use innovative and student-centred pedagogical approaches and to develop appropriate assessment and certification methods, based on learning outcomes, - enhancement of Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) uptake in teaching and learning, through the support of learning and access to open educational resources (OER) in the education and training fields, - support to ICT-based teaching and assessment practices, - promotion of the transparency of rights and obligations of users and producers of digitised content, - practical ideas for classroom, - improved teachers’ mobility, - heightened awareness of different classroom techniques, acquisition of new techniques, ideas, sources of materials. 62 teachers will take part in the project including class, branch teachers and managers. However, only 24 personnel including 4 managers , 3 English teachers and 17 class teachers will participate in the training in Barcelona. All the information and experiences taken in the "ICT in Education" course will be transferred to the other teachers in the school and in the district via certificated seminers. Photos, videos, reports and presentations of the project activities and trainings will be published in the school website. Besides, official letters and press release will be delivered to enable teachers to reach the project results. Sharing information and international cooperations will be sustained with e-twinning. Project team will prepare questionnaires and monitoring sheets to evaluate the project if it meets the expected objectives. The reports will be published in the school website.
