We are using the project of an international exchange of volunteers, as we would like to achieve the overall goal, of increasing the added value of voluntary work in the Sportjugend Coesfeld and the sports clubs in the district of Coesfeld.We opted for an international exchange within the EU, since this provides the optimum conditions to make volunteering more attractive. By socio-political changes Volunteers always have less opportunities to perform their duties. Therefore, using the exchange we would like to give young volunteers the opportunity to share their experience internationally, to gain new ideas and to develop in their skills. Additionally, in the very weak institutionalized youth organization landscape of the Kreis Coesfeld we would be the only free carrier of child and youth services from county level, with an international project. All these factors contribute to an increase of the attractiveness of voluntary work in the clubs in the district of Coesfeld,The exchange should be carried out with 10 participants, aged between 18 and 27 years, per country that are already active volunteers and familiar with the structures of the associations and of the organized sport. Thus, we achievie an exchange in which one can draw from experience and you can talk about club structures, voluntary work and problems associated with it.The following subjects and content is to be processed under the exchange for the participants: Europe - structures (especially youth work in sport), the partner country (structures (especially youth work in sport), language, school system, values, etc.), Intercultural Communication, dealing with conflicts, teambuilding. To edit such content, we will carry out different methods and activities, such as a World Cafe, the collegial counseling or group work, visit a sports club etc..We particularly want to define our projects clear educational goals that should be achieved by the participants of every exchange. In particular, the sustainable impact of the exchanges is to ensure, as we hope that young people who are educated and at the same time encouraged in their voluntary work will develop their own idea of voluntary work and will stay more motivated and therefore fullfill their voluntary work longer.
