Better life with horses - no barriers for all

A nonprofit organization Horse club FANY Hostěnice supports through hipo-rehabilitation and para-equestrian activities the integration of children and youth with disabilities between healthy kids, which is very motivating to achieve better physical performance. This specific group of children has very limited possibilities for leisure activities and para-equestrian is one of the few options to become part of the active events. The aim of the project is to support social inclusion and intercultural links of young people with fewer opportunities through the international mobility and improve the quality of youth work thanks to cooperation between partner organizations in the hipo-rehabilitation and para-vaulting equestrian activities. Partner of the project is the State University of Haci Bektas Veli Nevsehir in Turkey. An important task of the project is to support the professional and safe practice of Hipo-therapy in the partner State. Project objectives will be achieved through activities A1 international youth mobility. In the framework of this activity will be limited social and cultural barriers, will be promoted social integration of youth with disabilities and be allowed to create intercultural links with youth work from the partner Universities in Turkey. Participants will gain new international experience and get acquainted with a different culture and the hipo-rehabilitation activities will contribute to the development of tolerance and solidarity of all participants. The project focuses on transfer of knowledge and the deepening of intercultural ties in the field of therapeutic and leisure-time activities of children and youth with disabilities associated with informal education through the horses. It is shown that the hippotherapy riding has an impact on the overall development of individuals with handicaps. It affects the physical and psychological side of the individual. A trained body is much better protected against the negative influences of the environment. We will try to promote physical fitness through the methods used in the project, to improve physical agility and manual dexterity of young people with handicaps and an appealing and non-violent means.In the framework of youth mobility, we have focused on the introduction with the horse, gets contact using natural horsemanship, hipo-therapy, practicing the basics of simple paravaulting reports on a simulator and training on the horse. The project will offer participants the opportunity to realize their own ideas in terms of the promotion activities in the wild. During the implementation of the project, we will use educational and training methods, the rules and principles of the physical activities under the guidance of experts from the field of hipology, kinanthropology and rehabilitation medicine.During activity A2 will be supported cooperation at expert level and mutual transmission of the experience of the two partners in the field of hipo-rehabilitation and para-equestrian activities, increasing the competences of workers with youth at the Professional (teaching methods, current trends, improve English) and personal (the motivation to work, further development and lifelong learning) level. Project A1 Youth Mobility in the Czech Republic, with a Turkish partner, will be implemented in August 2016 and will be content of 12 members of the Organization country, of which 8 members will be with disabilities and their 3 assistants. From the partner country 12 persons, 4 persons with disabilities with their 2 assistants. The second planned activity A2 Mobility of youth workers will be implemented in Turkey in October 2016 and will participate 10 people and from each state of 2 persons with disabilities.
