Best practice based rural tourism host and courier training for tourism development of the border regions (Tourism training)

The general objective of the project is the elaboration and development of the missing curricula (course books, auxiliary teaching material) for rural hospitality and guide training in Hungary and Romania, thus encouraging the development of these professions on both sides of the border as well as contributing to job creation and the increase of the GDP per capita. Specific objectives: - Mutual sharing of experience in tourism accumulated in the borderland.- Development of curriculum, accreditation of curricula in Romania, training, selection and further training of trainers.The main activities are: development of curricula for the guide and rural hospitality training; training of an experimental group in both countries; trainer training in Romania.The direct target groups are guest-house owners, rural caterers and guides, as well as guide training educational institutions and their instructors.
