Project back ground: By changing from regional work area to an European dimension, it is necessary to change our methods of preparing our students for an European market. That's why the intercultural competences from our staff need to be improved. Intercultural competences are interactive competences and an important part of open minded European schools. At the same time it's very important for our students that the teachers know of new education methods to teach them foreign languages. Aims: Improvement of methodology and intercultural competences of our teachers. In this school year there is 1 teacher who has participated in a methodic training course. In general, the participants should: - agree to follow training programs abroad, - be able to communicate in English (for the English teachers only) - be open minded to integrate the acquired knowledge in their teaching - to communicate with other colleagues about the experiences. Description of activities: Participation in methodology training programs about teaching English. Description of the results and implementation: The experiences of the seminars will increase the motivation for intercultural learning and intercultural cooperation and make work with difficult students more effective. The training programs will increase the motivation of our teachers for European projects and this will increase the possibilities for our students for intercultural, linguistic and social competences. That will help our students to be prepared for the request of the European market.
