Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

In all areas of previous activities in international mobility is to be seen that the willingness of students and young workers is very little, to make use of these mobility opportunities. In addition, it is also difficult to convince companies to allow their apprentices and workers to go in an other state or take foreign apprentices. Therefore must in the craft the responsible manager in the company, but also the craftmen must be made aware to take the chances of cross-cultural experience. These people need to be informed that the German law of VET enable abroad for education and training. The participants can by the intensive study in the three months learn a lot of things: Italian language, insight into the Italian culture, other craft techniques and craftsmanship forms, especially the the knowloedge of new artisanal methods and other technical craft solutions. When participants reported after their return to their own communities about the time in the Italian craft firms and report about their experience in guilds and professional schools, it may be possible that more students and professionals are ready in the craft, at times perform their education abroad or temporarily to work there. The result is a network that can be reported through other mobility measures to improve preparedness for international cooperation.
