" Be Equal - Be You(th) Bilateral Youth Exchange 6th - 14th of July 2016 in Lapua, Finland. Participant countries are Austria and Finland. Youth Council of Lapua is the hosting organisation and youth centre Clickln from Gratwein, Austria, is the sending organisation.Participants are between 13 and 19 years old, 15 participants per country.The reason why the planning of the project started is the situation in Europe. More and more asylum seekers all over Europe. Also in our everyday life we meet difference. We have to think about our own attitudes, prejudice and improve our tolerance.By group work, work shops, learning by doing and role plays we go into the theme of the Youth Echange. The goals of the games are to teach the participants to recognize difference and accept it. At the beginning of the youth exchange participants get to know each other in camp circumstance and we make the ground for the objectives. During the home hosptality the impact of the project expands to the families and family members. By publishing the outcomes of the youth exchange and co-operation with local- and regional newspapers and regional radio as with by organising an event "Kesä Kauppakadulla" we can make the project more visible.
