Our Project, which will be implemented within the scope of Erasmus+ Program under coordination Turkey with the partnership Italy, will be carried out in Kahramanmaraş Province of Turkey for a period of 14 days with participation of 28 participators. Modern life style in a constant change and development and the social life becoming collectively expanded and crowded lead to an increase in communication and transportation every passing day. Such a case lead to crowded mass of people and vehicles on the roads; and a constant danger and threats within the daily life. The fact that young people are on the roads as pedestrians and drivers individually and as a part of a society increase the importance of their level of awareness on the traffic. When we look at the total number of the drivers involved in a traffic accident according to the age group and gender according to the data of the Turkish Statistics Institution for the coordinator country Turkey for the year 2012, we see that 6822 young men between the age of 15 and 17 are involved in traffic accidents caused as a result of driving without driving license; the number of the young girls for the same age group is 6551; and such number rises to 11944 young men and 11573 young women for the age group between 18 and 20. When we look at the data of Statistics Of Road Traffic Accidents In Europe And North America for our project partner Italy for the year 2011, 218.963 accidents happened in that year. Life on traffic must become a common culture shared by all developed societies and individuals. Obeying the rules on traffic, respect and tolerance to others on the traffic and a sense of "us" instead of "me" must be improved with the society. Within the scope of our project activities, practical studies will be implemented and our activities will focus on Traffic signs, the traffic rules to be obeyed by the pedestrians, traffic police signals, rules to be obeyed by the drivers, issues to pay attention while driver, damages of the traffic accidents in the society and country, injuries at traffic accidents and the first aid, which must be applied during such injuries. The young participants will also work on posters regarding the subject matter of the project in order to raise awareness at the implementation location of the project and such posters will be exhibited on the boards and panels of the coordinator institution. A common sense of conscious will be established among the young people as a result of the project activities. They will be provided with significant experiences.
