The application is submitted by the 2nd EPAL of Patras (Secondary Vocational School). There are 261 students and 43 teachers in this school. It offers the following fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering and Graphic Arts. After that they submitted to the teachers’ board and received approval of the mobility program: «Be Better. Combine practice and knowledge in the field of Mechatronics », under Erasmus +, action KA1. The duration of the program is 12 months, from 01/06/2015 to 01/06/2016. The target group is: 16 senior high school students that attend the fields of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic engineering (the combinatorial sector called Mechatronics), since the necessity of Logo Soft Comfort is obvious in this new field, and two escort teachers. The participants come from low educational, economic, vocational rehabilitation opportunities families. The mobility will take place in Berlin, Germany, in one flow for 16 days, at GBG company, from 21.02.2016 to 07.03.2016. The program’s main goal, is the target group’s growth and improvement in the areas of education, skills and abilities, based on two main pillars. The first pillar refers to the enhancement of Logo Soft Comfort basic functions handling skills, as the second pillar refers to the practical application of the previous, by attending technical visits to the BMW, VW, AUDI and Porche factories, to witness and connect theory with practice . The distinctive key targets set to meet the target group’s identified needs as well as the group’s expected outcomes, are: - Knowledge, skills and experience acquirement about Logo Soft Comfort’s usage and application by seminars. - Work experience acquirement, contact establishment with people qualified in their sectors, in person connection of theory and practice, knowledge acquisition of the new technology. - Personal skills’ development, such as self-esteem, teamwork, accountability, consistency, cooperativeness. - Μulticulturalism reinforcement, eradication of xenophobia and fear of living/moving to another country. - Exercise in other languages (English, German) -Qualifications acquisition (Europass- certifications) -Development of partnerships between persons and institutions All of the above lead to ultimately strengthen and improve the participants (students, escort teachers), in both cognitive and professional development, as well as in personal growth. The choice of Germany, was based on its avowed technological superiority, especially in the automotive industry, covering all three areas of specialties of the proposal and of the Logo Soft Comfort automation program. The choice of GBG, was based on the vast specialized experience and knowledge it holds in projects as ours as well as its wide network of partnerships with organizations that can help our project. All parts involved, have a distinct role and obligations dictated by written agreements and mutual trust «Mutual Trust». The methodology in project management will be formative, so that there is feedback at every stage of this implementation and continuous results improvement. The impact on the participants is that they will increase their competitiveness over others, giving them a competitive advantage in finding a job.
