“Barkava Professional school in BALtic- EU praxis connection”

Planned project „Barkava PV in BALtic - EU connection” (Barkava Vocational Secondary School) during the activity of “Erasmus+” programme KA102 provides learning mobility for students of vocational educational institutions and specialists of vocational training. Its implementation is planned during the period from 1.07.2014. until 30.06.2016. The length of this practice is 1 month for students and residence time for teachers – 1 week. 8 teachers and 17 students from four education programs (“Construction”, “Agriculture” and “Tourism-hospitality-catering”) will participate in this mobility. Our partners are: -) Kuressaare Ametikool (Estonia); -) Kauno statybininku mokykla (Kaunas, Lithuania); -) Panevezys Centre of Vocational Education and Kauno(Lithuania); -) Střední škola strojní, stavební a dopravní Liberec II (Czech Republic); -) Agroturystyka „BRZOZA” (Poland) as partner LT and Austria organization in Sirnitz as reserve mobility host organization. The aim of the project is: -) to support an acquisition of new knowledge, skills and competencies for the target groups; -) to promote professional growth, employment and chances into today’s job market; -) to promote implementation of innovations in the educational process and practical training both at school and enterprises of practice. Realization of this project will help to improve involved students’ skills in fields of construction, agriculture and tourism-hospitality, also in the context of sustainable and environmentally friendly development. It will further learning of foreign languages, new technical and technological approach to ensure efficiency of work processes. Overall, this project will contribute to common achieving of goals of Erasmus + programme, targeting the professional and personal goals, as well as realization of local and regional development plans.
