The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the development of the tourist potential in the Programme area through improvement of capacity of tourism infrastructure in Yantarny municipality (Russia) and integration of Yantarny into tourist routes network. Achievements: 1. Anchor tourism infrastructure object in Yantarny created - 1 promenade with a pier (both in general 2000 meters long) in Yantarny (Russia) is constructed.2. Input of the Russian side to the comprehensive cross-border touristic study Baltic Amber Coast elaborated.3. Cross-border cooperation in the field of tourism development between relevant stakeholders (authorities, NGOs, tourist operators) in the cross-border area improved – over 90 organisations participated in workshops and conference organised within the frame of the project.4. Public awareness of the tourist potential of Yantarny municipality increased through several publications in the press, on regional and partners websites, 3 TV reports made. One of the cross-border cooperation events became massive – over 1000 people from the cross-border area participated in sailing regatta and festival in Yantarny.
