CONTEXT OF THE PROJECT: The project "Austrian experience in the dual education system in tourism", initiated by the Vocational /Professional/ School of Tourism "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" - Kardzhali will be implemented together with the partner organization «AMADEUS VEREIN FUR TRANSNATIONALE BILDUNG» - Vienna, Austria . The project will be implemented for a period of 12 months. Mobility will take place in April 2016 in Vienna, Austria. The objectives of the mobility are to make acquainted with: - The management, organization and control of the teaching process in dual education system and used curricula and syllabuses; - The new teaching methods, visualization and evaluation of knowledge and skills of the trainees; - The good practices for cooperation between schools and businesses to achieve a higher quality of education; - The system for selection of mentors; - Modes /ways/ of assessment and validation of skills and competences of students in a real working environment. NUMBER AND PROFILE OR THE PARTICIPANTS: The target group consists of 10 teachers - pedagogical specialists with managerial functions (assistant directors) and teachers of vocational training. The exchange will take place consistent with partner work program, including professional visits to similar schools, hotels and restaurants, school partners in the dual education system. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES: - preparation of a project proposal together with the partner; - negotiating a work program of the mobility; - negotiating the accommodation conditions of the beneficiaries; - preparation and selection of the beneficiaries; - entering into contract with the partner and the beneficiaries; - organizing and conducting the mobility; - monitoring; - certification of acquired knowledge, skills and competencies; - dissemination of the results of the implementation of the project; - preparation of the final report by the Mobility Tool +. The planned activities follow the logical sequence aimed quality implementation of the project and its objectives. THE METODOLOGY used in the implementation of the project: Provides for an organization for planning, control, initiation, management by setting the team for the project, distribution of tasks and obligations of the partners, on the one hand, and the members of the teams on the other hand, continuous assessment, mentoring, monitoring, popularization, certification etc. These methods were chosen due to the long experience of the school of successful realization of projects in various European programs. DESCRIPTION OF THE RESULTS AND THE ANTICIPATED IMPACT: After the end of the mobility Vocational /Professional/ School of Tourism – Kardzhali will: - have trained staff to organize the teaching process and prepare curricula and syllabuses for the studied professions in the field of tourism; - have well-trained teachers to ensure the quality of the education by the dual system; - apply the good practices in the implementation of the dual education system; - prepare better specialists in the field of tourism in the person of students who are going to be competitive on the European labour market; - define the role and responsibilities of the partners in education; - improve the relationship between the school and the business of providing quality education and training through the dual system in the field of tourism; Vocational /Professional/ School of Tourism plans to carry out analysis and spreading of results. The useful ideas and positive experiences will be included in the Development Strategy of the School. LONG-TERM BENEFITS: The participation in the mobility under “Erasmus +” contributes to raise the profile of the school, will help to promote European cooperation in vocational education and training, will expand the opportunities for closer contacts with business and will enhance the experience in the implementation of European projects.
