Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PCG) concepts refer to activities that became crucial parts of the modern education. Especially the guidance term, even if mentioned within the curriculum during 1938, gain vast popularity as of the 1950's. Particularly after the 1970's phsycological counseling and guidance services take place in our education programmes held by "experts" as a specific "assistance" and "expertise" activity. In the roots of psychological counseling and guidance services, the synonym of the word guidance is leading in English. But guidance service is different from leading. With leading, if a person is skilled in a particular issue he/she executes a certain task for others. On the other hand guidance refers to the recognition and self introduction of the individual, enabling his/her growth, development, maturation systematically rather than doing something for another one. According to studies held in our country, PCG practices emphasize on elementary education and respective students. Whereas secondary education and high school students who are passing through childhood to youth are in greater need for PCG services. Besides no studies on common opinion between the school principal, school counsellor, class counsellor who are the ones to give the PSG services and the students can be tracked. Therefore, PCG services at the secondary education level involving the early stages of puberty, should be deveoped and all instructors in a school should be regarded as part of the PCG services team. In this respect, PCG know how of our instructors and their competence particularly on effective communication, self respcet skills, social psychology, student psychology, prevention of early school drop outs, adolescence development, individual specific education etc. should be improved and effectively executed in our school. As a result of the mentioned necessities, the projects purpose is: improving PCG knowledge of our instructors, effective execution of this services, guiding, dealing with problems of and assisting students by specializing in leadership, improvement of self respect skills, time and stress management, team work etc. Additionally, as common risks of the age, prevention of early drop outs of school, abscence, bad habits and keeping our students away from such dangers. Besides, increasing the competence of our instructors on adolescent growth, individual specific education etc. is aimed. Instructor competence will be improved by leadership, self respect skills improvement, time and stress management, team work trainings within the project on: - social psychology, - student psychology, - prevention of early drop outs of school, - solving abscence problems, - methods of motivation improvement, - vocational orientation and guidance, - team work practices, - persuasion methods, - conflict and anger management, - time and stress management, - creativity improvement methods, - adolescent growth, - recognition of self respect/self conscepts, - overcoming prejudiction skills, - distraction reduction methods, - individual specific education. During the implementation process of the project participants will attend the below trainings in respective countries between 14-27 February 2016: 3 participants, Czech Republic (Leadership Skills Training) 4 participants, Germany (Effective Communication Methods Training) 8 participants, Netherlands (5 participants - Time and Stress Management Training, 3 participants - Improvement of Self Respect Skills Training) 5 participants, (Team Work Training) Proje kapsamında hareketlilik faaliyetleri; 14-27 Şubat 2016 tarihleri arasında Çek Cumhuriyetine 3 kişi (Liderlik Becerileri eğitimi), Almanya’ya 4 kişi (Etkili İletişim Yöntemleri eğitimi), Hollanda’ya 8 kişi ( 5 kişi- Zaman ve Stres Yönetimi eğitimi, 3 kişi- Özgüven Becerilerinin artırılması eğitimi), İspanya’ya 5 kişi olarak (Takım Çalışması eğitimi) gerçekleştirilecektir. As a result of the project, our instructors will execute PCG services effectively and help the students improve their self well being and academic success respectively.
