European hotel kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices Our project, European hotel kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices is a Consortium project for Vocational and Technical Education Center Dinar, Burdur Girls Technical and Vocational High School, Sakarya Karasu Vocational and Technical Education Center, Sinop Boyabat Girls' Technical and Vocational High School in Kitchen and Cooking field of Food and Beverage Services Department of 11th and 12th class, per school 14 total 56 girls and boys students. Our project is planned to be carried out within the scope Erasmus+ VET learner and staff mobility project. The rapid development of the socio-economic structures of societies accelerates the development of this sector. Food and beverage production and service is a sector in which, human labor is used most intensively and automation is very limited. Production and putting into service of the Food and beverage services in healthy, clean, hygienic environments requires expertise for the staff who are going to carry out this work. To provide services fitting personnel preferences only can be achieved with a sufficient amount of skilled labor in this sector in which customer satisfaction is kept at the forefront. The main objective of our project is also within the scope of the project, young colleagues who have not yet been employed or want to improve their professional knowledge of the industry with the skills needed for hygiene and sanitation issues and build a sufficient level of education. In the case of the realization of our project, the project participants who have sufficient skills and companies that need skilled labor in the sector will benefit mutually. In addition, the participants within the scope of project need communicating in a foreign language, self-confidence and cross-cultural communication skills. Prior to the placement and during the placement activities participants are to be provided with the detailed relevant knowledge and skills on the entire process starting from the storage and preparation of the product until it is brought into service. With the activities which will be implemented before and during the placement activities in the case the project is supported by the National Agency participants overseas placement is going to be as 4 groups each group consisting of 14 people in February -March 2014 three weeks in 4 recipient partner hotels in Austria, Portugal, Romania and the Czech Republic. Having divided into two separate team of each group 14 people namely 7 people will take part in practical applications directly to the 2 recipient partner's facilities and organizations.
