Avardades piire - ECVET rakendamine õpirändes
Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Tallinn Polytechnic School (TPT) is a vocational education institution established in Tallinn in 1915. During past years we have considerably increased our international activities and received grants both for Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning VETPRO and IVT projects. In this Erasmus+ 2014-2016 KA1 mobility project TPT will engage two target groups: vocational education students for 4 weeks apprenticeship abroad and vocational education professionals for one week job shadowing or 4 week teaching assignment at the partner institution. The aim of the project is to improve employability and ease the transaction from education to employment; improve the level of key competences and skills of TPT teachers and staff; improve the understanding of different European languages and cultures, broaden the mind towards more tolerant society; develop basic skills of entrepreneurship of young people and develop partnerships between education and employment. Special emphasis of the project is on implementing the ECVET system into mobility. Our project partners are vocational education centred that we either have previous collaboration experience or that have been recommended by our partners. Through the variety of partners we can provide equal opportunities for participation in the project to students and teachers of all our specialities. The project will be managed by a team of professionals, lead by a dedicated Project Manager. All participants going into mobility will be fully supported by the Project Manager, who prepares the Memorandum of Understanding with partners and Learning Agreements; arranges all practical matters; monitors the mobility; composes reports and communicates the results locally and nationally. As a result of this project, the students, teachers and staff of our school will be better qualified for employments; their knowledge and abilities for job tasks will be raised; they will understand better the international measures of employments market, EU educational systems, foreign cultures and languages. As the project will be carried through using ECVET tools, it will create a good practical platform for implementing the system in Estonia as well as in other partner countries.
