Background for our project are barriers in spoken language of our teachers and using their mother language too often during their lessons. Another important reason is the improvement of accent and pronunciation. Our wish to improve cultural empathy also as the appropriation of international methods and didactic and using new media in our lessons are the reasons for using this way to train our teachers. The barriers in language have been the reason for breaking up a beginning partnership with a school in the Netherlands. The aim of this relationship was to start an e-mail-communication between our students and the students of the international school. The aims of the project are the reduction of barriers in spoken and written language and the appropriation of international methods and didactic for using them in own lessons. Because of this we will improve our whole english lessons and will give our students the possibility of learning international methods very early. By it we will rouse more interest in english language for our students. This could be the first step for beeing interested in bilingualism, foreign culture and other languages. For making our aims real we want to send one teacher this year to Ireland to practice a PML course (method and didactic). This course is intended for teaching skills for primary level. In the next year we want to send one or two teachers for practice the same PML course. The teacher of this year we want to send to practice a TECH course. This course is intended to teach how to practice new media as internet, facebook and so on in school and in own lessons. All of our teachers are young and high motivated to appropriate international methods and didactic and to integrate these in their own lessons and to train the other teachers. After talking and evaluation about possibilities of use and integration in own english lessons the results should introduce to all the other teachers of our school. Here the others have the possibility to discuss about it. Other possibilities for going on - like beginning a new partnership with an international school for writing e-mails from student to student - should beeing discussed, too. It would be great if such a partnership would come to realize. Other points of contact between this international school and us would be conceivable and desirable - like holding up a friendship football match between the students. That would mean only talking in english for many hours - for the teachers and the children! How do you learn better a foreign language and internationalism as in such a way? With it our school would get more international flair and would improve it's openness to other cultures and languages.
