We intend to establish a communication network to achieve a higher level of open-mindedness concerning Europe at the Otto-Hahn-Realschule. During the twelve-months-project time it is intended to include as many subjects as possible which are taught at our school. We would like to launch and use the eTwinning platform to accomplish our purpose. We are sending out two teachers (their subjects: Geography/English and German/English/French) to participate in teachers-training course in Great Britain/London to improve their method-skills, special vocabulary, regional and cultural knowledge. They should also get in touch with other teachers from different European countries. Furthermore, we are planning a job-shadowing-project with our partner school in Scotland. We would like them to participate in launching and using the eTwinning network. Both of our teachers would like to teach their pupils how to use the Europass and EVCET in order to motivate them, to improve the transparency and to gain visible success. Our colleagues' aim is to share their knowledge with other teachers from our school as well as with those of schools of our area that are connected to ours. We hope that these experiences will improve our teaching and lead to a higher motivation concerning teaching and learning at our school.
