We are a secondary school with both ordinary classes and classes with progressive education as well as highly-talented classes. To fulfill our high demands, to support our students especially in foreign languages and to motivate them to communicate with students at the same age from different European countries we strive for a school partnership based on EDP with English as the common language used in the project. In order to achieve such a partnership and to develop an international relationship we send one teacher from the English department of our school to a training course abroad. It deals with new methods and teaching methodology in English classes and the use of modern media. This is to increase the language abilities of our colleague but also to find potential partners for future projects. On a long-term basis we could imagine to develop a Comenius-project. We hope that the experiences gathered by our colleague during the training course will have a decisive effect on our classes and would make the teachers and students alike become more motivated. Even more, we want to continue to improve the quality and image of our school.
