Within the project "Food Produce and catering practice for students in Denmark and professional development activities of Mechatronics, Telematics and Logistics teachers in England" are planed two activities. Participants of the first activity are 4th course students of Valmiera Vocational Secondary school (VVSS), acquiring curriculums connected with nutrition: technicians of food produce and catering specialists. In the Danish Meat Trade College students will acquire knowledge about meat food production, Danish national food (from meat) cooking, meat pretreatment and sausage preparation. During the practice youngsters will learn new knowledge and professional skills in an international environment, and during the project students will learn how to work with new technologies, equipment and tools. All participants after project will be more skilled in their professional sector and be able to use new knowledge after schools graduation in local companies. It will be benefit for the industry in local and national level. Project will be realized in Roskilde, The Danish Meat Trade College in year 2014 (August - September). Participants of the second activity are 10 Mechatronics, telematics and logistics specialists (6 VVSS teachers, 2 coaches from local companies and 2 school administrative employee/educational methodologists), which will be sent to professional development and experience exchange visit to England. Goal of activity: 1) promote the professional development of project participants by providing new knowledge about mechatronics and logistics teaching subjects and practical training organization, 2) to get international experiences to better develop and modernize the "Mechatronics", "Telematics and logistics" vocational education programs in future. The Host Partner is "The IBD Partnership" - organization dealing with schools and companies, to ensure practice and experience exchange in England, Portsmouth. In the end of the projec experts in the area of mechatronics, telematics and logistics will share their experience with other teachers and implement their new experience at school and sector. Activity will be organized in 2015, April in 2 flows. 1th flow - 1 week in England for mehatronic specialists; and 2nd flow - 1 week in England for telematics and logistics specialists. Working language will be English therefore improving speaking skill is additional benefit for all participants.
