The aim of the project: The intervention with the young prisoners of Picassent's Penitentiary Center. The prision of picassent (Valencia) is to 20,1 Km from distance of the capital, therefore the association Obra Mercedaria will transport the volunteers with a vehicle of his property. The project is realized all the year round by three weekly workshops, of an approximate duration of 3 hours each one. Workshop Pokito a Poco (development of values).Workshop of art. Workshop of sport. And inside these workshops in punctual moments of the year we are done more extensive activities (Christmas/Easter holidays/summer). The workshops realized in the Penitentiary Center are prepared for themselves in the local of the association placed in C/Turia, 58, to 10 minutes walking of the Historical Center of Valencia. The received volunteers will reside in the same housings that the users of the program of rehabilitation that manages the association, are housings in the historical center, with a stairs of access without elevator, (the second floor).
