The ACDC cluster aims to reduce social isolation and exclusion. The aim is to help practioners in charge of the targeted populations (young people with physical and learning disabilities and seniors) to better understand the situation and needs of their beneficiaries.The aim is to reduce social isolation through creative engagement, helping socially isolated people enhance both their participation in and contribution to society. The cluster will research the knowledge gap of practitioners dealing with these beneficiaries and want to improve skills of practitioners who work on a regular basis with the beneficiaries. The objectives are to work with beneficiaries to understand their world, to know and understand social exclusion, learn from each others' experience of alleviating social isolation and devise a training method.
