ART PATH – WAY TO INTEGRATION AND SOLIDARITY

‘ART PATH – The Way to Integration and Solidarity’ youth exchange is international event with the focus on the problem of Integration and Solidarity with people who flee own home places and facing some obstacles in the new conditions. This event will take place in Bila Tserkva Ukraine and it will gather together 20 young participants and four group leaders from four different European countries Slovakia, Ukraine, Italy and Georgia. The young people are going to present own culture and traditions; the situation with migrants or IDPs in their own community and own ideas and artistic vision of the discussed topic. Using the art activities, they will create some mosaic pictures, land-art objects, thematic simple cartoons and pictures to reflect on the topic of Solidarity and Integration.The partners want to achieve following subjects:- To explore the notion of art and its influence on social life in different countries;- To overview different forms of Art in youth and social work, explore the potential of different artistic activities in making change for youth;- To discover the way and forms of transferring the message of peace, solidarity and tolerance using Art;- To acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes that increase the level of solidarity with immigrants, IDPs and other people who want to be integrated in society;- to organize the workshops, exercises, and experiential learning activities to improve participants' artistic skills;- To create the Art pieces with focus on Integration, Solidarity and general human values to be presented during final event for local community- Develop competency in working across cultures to teach, manage, and interact in our diverse and pluralistic world.The partners will involve some migrants and IDPs as well as young artists, volunteers and activists I n role of the participants of current project. These people should become a team during the youth exchange and as a team they should discuss the important issues of youth life in modern European society; creat thematic art works to reflect on the topic of Integration and Solidarity and share the results of the youth exchange as wide as it possible.Each national group hold the small local research in andvance of the exchange, the results of this research should help the participants to understend the problem more clear and find the best way of its reflection in art works.The partners are going to use following methods like theoretical inputs, games, presentations, art activities, and simulation games, work in international groups, evaluation meetings, intercultural meetings and active discussions. We are going to hold final event in form of exhibition and free discussion of the results. All the participants are going to take active part in preparation and organizing this event.The results of the youth exchange will be presented to local active young community in each of partner country after the project. With using the online platform of the project we are going to share the products of the exchange as well as other additional connected information which could be useful for the participants and other actors in local communities.We hope this project will make a positive impact on the participants, beneficiars, local communities, national and European policy regarding the attitudes to migrants and IDPs. The art works could become a local simbols of the solidarity and friendship.Realization of this project is going to become a continuation of the partnership amonr the participating organization as well as good point for further cooperation in interests of the young people.
